Bruce T. Camp

Bruce Terrell Camp, 81, of Easley, beloved husband of Shelby Jean Rooker Camp, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2023.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Judy Ophelia Camp Hardin.
Bruce retired from Michelin Tire Corporation in Greenville after 30 years of dedicated service. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church, a member of the Bates Masonic Lodge #189 A.F.M., and a Hejaz Shriner. In his younger days, he enjoyed playing softball, coaching the Nimmons Oil Softball Team, and bird hunting. He also enjoyed leather-making and attending classic car shows with his wife, Shelby.
Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Shelby; and brothers, Glenn Camp (Jatana) of Jacksonville, NC, and Gwynn Camp of Pickens.
In addition to his mother, Bruce was predeceased by his son, Bruce Travis Camp; and a sister, Carole Martin.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. The burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made to the building fund of Rock Springs Baptist Church, 201 Rock Springs Road, Easley, SC 29642.
The family will be at the home.
