Bruce Edward Henderson, 88, of Easley, husband of Angeline Lidie Limbaugh Henderson, passed away Monday, May 6, 2019 at his home.

Born in Pickens County, he was a son of the late Fred Cleveland and Maude Dessie Watson Henderson. Bruce was a member of Corinth Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, gardening, spending time outdoors, and his church. He proudly served our country in the US Army.

Surviving in addition to his wife are two sons, Steve Henderson (Jannette), and Allen Henderson (Julie) both of Easley; two brothers, Fred Henderson, and Curtis Henderson; six grandchildren, Faith Wilson, Rachel Tate, Zachary Henderson, Jenna Henderson, Lucas Henderson, and Stephen Bruce Henderson, Jr.; and seven great-grandchildren, Brailynne Henderson, Abbygayle Wilson, June Wilson, Ava Tate, Evan Henderson, Everleigh Henderson, and Emma Henderson.

In addition to his parents, Bruce is predeceased by one brother, Waymon Henderson; four sisters, Inez Henderson Martin, Vederabelle Henderson Coleman, Rachelle Henderson Ellenburg, and Sarah Henderson Nalley; and one great-grandson, Cameron Wilson.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Corinth Baptist Church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until 1:45 PM Thursday at the church prior to the service.

The family will be at their respective homes.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for memorials to be made to Providence Care Hospice, 202 Wall Street, Piedmont, SC 29673.
