Mr. Bruce Edwin Holliday, 82, husband of the late Linda Sue Hightower Holliday, passed away Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Cottingham Hospice House.

Born in Pickens County, the son of the late John Edgar and Fannie Harkins Holliday, Mr. Holliday retired from Platt Saco-Lowell and was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist Church. He was a US Army Veteran.

Surviving are a son, Dale Holliday (Sheila) of Easley; and three grandchildren, Taryn H. Thompson, Austin Holliday and Ashley Holliday. In addition to his wife and parents, Mr. Holliday was predeceased by two sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, November 9, 2016 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home, prior to the service.

The family is at the home of his son and daughter-in-law, Dale and Sheila Holliday.
