Obituary

Bryan Anthony Thompson, 32, of Travelers Rest, SC, went home to be with his Lord & Savior on Monday, November 2, 2026.

Bryan was involved in a horrific car accident early Monday morning on his way to work that caused him to leave this earth too soon & too young.

Bryan was one of the most genuine & kind people who cared deeply for those around him, and he truly always had a smile on his face that brightened every room he walked into. His family was his world, and the love he had for his wife and children was evident to everyone who knew him.

Bryan loved his country, God, music, fishing, watching his son’s sports games & to be home with his family whenever he could be. He was a very simple man in the best ways.

He wrestled at & graduated from Wren High School in 2012. Then he later joined the Army as a Patriot Missile Operator in 2015 & was planning to re-enlist at the end of this year.

Bryan was loved by everyone surrounded by him. He had a personality you couldn’t help but be drawn to & was the best person to have a conversation with about anything.

Bryan leaves behind his wife of 12 years, Niki, and his sons Jett, Jax & Maverick.

In addition to his wife & children, Bryan is survived by his parents Mitchell & Lisa Thompson, his siblings Joshua Taylor (Haleigh Burton), Danielle Thompson & Jonathan Adams, his grandmother Alice Whittington, his uncle Michael Thompson (Kayla Thompson), his cousins Aaron, Matthew & Taylor Thompson, his nieces Gracie, Preslee & Bella Taylor, Harlee & Mattie Harper, Lainey Thompson, Karma & Willow Adams, his nephews Jaxon Taylor & Koda Bruzzichesi, & his closest friends Ryan Jennings, Justin Banks, Matthew Williamson & Justin Davis.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Jimmy & Wanda Thompson, Charles Whittington & his great-grandmother “Gommy”

The family will host services at Geer Memorial Church in Easley, SC, on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at 1:00 PM.
