Buford Barton Bellamy

Buford Barton Bellamy, 86, husband of Eleanor Fowler Bellamy, died at his residence on Wednesday, September 19, 2007. He was born in Madison County Georgia the son of the late Willie W. and Carrie Bellamy. He had been a resident of Pendleton for 57 years and was the owner of the Greenville Street Grocery for 50 years. He was a member of the Mt. Vernon Holiness Church in Seneca.

In addition to his wife he is survived by a sister, Bessie McCollum of Royston, Georgia and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by daughters Carolyn Sullivan and Elaine Bellamy.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2pm in the chapel of the Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with interment to follow in the New Silver Brook Cemetery in Anderson. The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8pm at the funeral home.
