Byron Reginald "Bud" Dickard, 73, of 242 Mulberry Road, died Wednesday, May 16, 2007 at his home.

Born in Pickens, he was a son of the late Elbert and Icie Bagwell Dickard. He was a veteran of the US Army and was retired from Alice Manufacturing where he worked as a weaver and a loom technician. He was of the Methodist Faith.

Surviving are his wife, Carol Wilson Dickard of the home; a son, Scott Dickard and wife Annette of Easley; a daughter, Regina McGrey and husband Kevin of Simpsonville; and three grandchildren, Brent and Colby Dickard, and Alex McGrey. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a brother, Milton Dickard.

A graveside service will be 3:00 PM Friday at Greenlawn Memorial Park with Reverend Roger Gwinn officiating.

Visitation will be prior to the service on Friday from 1:30 until 2:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown.

The family is at the home.
