Candace Davies

Candace "Candy" Preston Davies, 77, went to be the Lord and Savior Tuesday, March 24, 2026.

Born on January 22, 1949, she was the daughter of Art Preston and Nancy Nicholas Preston.

Candy was an avid Elvis fan, always enjoying his music. She also was an animal lover who spent her time caring for her beloved dogs.

Candy is survived by her children Leigh Richey of Clemson, Polly Gossett of Six Mile, and Joy Veal of Seneca; her stepchildren Danny Davies of NY, Janie Fitzgerald of NY, and Rachel Hohman also of NY. She is also survived by her eleven grandchildren, thirteen great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild; her sisters Peri Bush, Fay Randall, Peggy Chandler, and Emily Jones; and her best friends Libby Mann and Sonya Jenkins.

In addition to her beloved husband Phil Davies, and her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Jamie Preston.

A visitation in honor of Candy will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

A funeral service will be held Saturday, March 28, 2026, at 12:00PM at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.

Burial will be held at Mt. Zion Cemetery.
