"Captain" Dennis Felton Adams, 89, of Crosswell School Road, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, July 27, 2018.

Born in the Pelham Community, he was a son of the late Claude and Emma Hudson Adams.

Mr. Adams was retired from Dunean Mill. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church, the Brewerton Masonic Lodge #183 A.F.M. and The Loyal Order of the Moose. He enjoyed fishing, watching the Clemson Tigers and Braves Baseball.

Surviving are his wife of the home, Peggy Malpless Adams; children, Marilyn A. Fish of Simpsonville, Debra A. Morris of Gray Court, Paula A. Rogers (Ricky) and Denise A. Phillips (Mark) all of Simpsonville, Kathy Wells (Mark) of Ware Shoals, Joey Nations (Kathy) of Easley and Christopher Nations of Texas; twelve grandchildren; seventeen great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; and a sister, Shirley Rogers of TN.

Mr. Adams was predeceased by sons-in-law, Dale Fish and Phil Morris; grandchildren, Austin Wells, Amy Murray, Jason Ison and Ben Morris; four sisters; and two brothers.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with burial to follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church, 1832 Powdersville Road, Easley, SC 29642.

The family will be at the home.
