Carl Easton Bell, 72, husband of Teresa Wheeler Bell, passed away on Friday, September 9, 2016 at his home.


Mr. Bell was born in Pickens County and was a son of the late Henry Bruce and Frances Rice Bell.  He loved painting cars, farming, was dog lover and supporter of the Greenville Humane Society.  Mr. Bell served in the U. S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a member of Freedom Fellowship of Central.


Surviving in addition to his wife are three daughters, Pamala (Derek) Stone and Jane Bell of Central and Tina (Jon)Stephens of Mt. Pleasant; one brother, Jim Bell of Central; three sisters, Marie Freeman of Travelers Rest, Jean Long of Pacolet, and Doris Glenn of Fairplay; four grandchildren, Kayla Parker, Hanna Parker, Avery Bell and Easton Stephens; and his special pets, Coco, Scooter, Barley and Cojo.


In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two infant children and a brother, Billy Bell.


Funeral services will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 4:00 PM in the Chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Oconee Memorial Park.


The family will receive friends on Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
