Carl Houston Brown, 66, of 2123 Sitton Hill Road, died Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Greenville County, he was a son of the late Bennie Frank and Annie George Brown. He was a member of Judson Baptist Church , a Mason and a veteran of The U.S. Air Force. He was a former Captain of the Shrine Motorcycle Escort and a Past Master of White Plains Masonic Lodge #321.
Mr. Brown is survived by his wife, Joyce Porter Brown of the home; a son, Frankie Brown of Easley; a brother, Bobby Brown of Dacusville; two sisters, Cheryl Bennett and Brenda Keener and a grandson, Dillon Brown.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Brown was predeceased by a brother, Gary Brown and two sisters, Janet Garrett and Quedolia Vess.
Funeral services will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home- Powdersville Rd. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Rd. , Easley, SC 29642
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. Sunday, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
