Carl T. Donohoe, 96, of 232 Grove Drive, Clemson, SC, went to be with his Lord, Monday, July 7, 2014 at the Cottingham Hospice House in Seneca, SC.
Born in Clark County, Ohio, he was the son of the late Rex and Alice Carmichael Donohoe. Carl was a retired painting contractor and a member of First Baptist Church of Pendleton, SC. He was a long-time resident of Inverness, FL. He was an avid fisherman. He considered it a priviledge to serve as a Deacon of churches where he had been a member in Orlando and Inverness.
Surviving are his wife, Iva Lucille McAlister Donohoe, Clemson, SC; daughters, Kathryn (Lester) Stewart of Merritt Island, FL and Ginny Smith of Clemson, SC; grandchildren, Carl (Leslie) Weaver of West Melbourne, FL and Shane (Celeste) Smith of Seneca, SC; great-grandchildren, Teagan Weaver, Savannah Smith and Cameron Smith. He was predeceased by a daughter, Phyllis (Dale) Weaver; a granddaughter, Melinda Dale; and four siblings.
The family will receive friends at 2:00PM, Saturday, July 19, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Pendleton with the Memorial Service to follow at 3:00PM.
