Carlos Walter Bayne

Mr. Carlos Walter Bayne, 91, of Piedmont, loving husband of Mrs. Betty Massey-Bayne, passed away Thursday, December 18, 2014 at his residence.
Carlos was born on July 22, 1923 in Greenville County to the late Augustus Monroe and Martha Wood Bayne. He was very active in the Masons and in his free time enjoyed gardening, word puzzles, reading and spending time with his grandchildren. Carlos was a member of Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church.
He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with the Reverend Mike Cox Officiating.
The Family will receive friends immediately following the service at the cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church building fund; 101 Pisgah Road, Easley, SC 29642; or to Meals on Wheels; 15 Oregon Street, Greenville, SC 29605.
