Mr. Carmon Lincoln Looper, 93, husband of Mildred McClain Looper, went to be with his Lord and Savior Sunday, January 14, 2018.
Born February 12, 1924 in Pickens County, a son of the late Jerry and Jessie Traynham Looper, Mr. Looper was a life-long farmer and a member of Cross Roads Baptist Church where he was a former trustee. He was a member of the Dacusville Cedar-Rock Water Board and Farm Bureau.
Mr. Looper is survived by his wife, and was predeceased by a brother, Hoke Looper, and a sister, Lake Jones. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, January 17, 2018 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in the Cross Roads Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon until 1:45 PM Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cross Roads Baptist Church, 160 Cross Roads Church Road, Easley, SC 29640; or to Pickens County Meals on Wheels, 349 Edgemont Avenue, Liberty, SC 29657.
