Carol M. Chappell
Carol McNeely Chappell, 81, of Easley, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, April 19, 2021 at her home.
Born in Pickens County, she was the daughter of the late Weldon and Nora Lee McNeely.
Mrs. Chappell was retired from Bank of America after 42 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of Brushy Creek Baptist Church and the Senior Group. She cherished all the moments with her family and enjoyed watching all sports especially the Clemson Tigers and Atlanta Braves.
Surviving are her husband of 59 years, Brackett Chappell; a son, Doug Chappell and his wife, Anna, of Greenville; her grandchildren, Leah and Luke Chappell; and several nieces and nephews, brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Phronsie McNeely.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 1:00 PM until 1:50 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with the service to follow at 2:00 PM in the funeral home chapel. Scroll to the video player below to view the service. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Pickens.
