Carol June Cook

Carol June Cook passed away on January 6, 2025, at the age of 89. June was born on December 9, 1935, to the late Landon S. and Ethel Dobson.

A proud graduate of Anderson University Nursing School class of 1958, June dedicated her life to caring for others. Her profession exemplified her nurturing spirit, and she always made time to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Beyond her career, June embraced many hobbies that brought happiness to herself and others. She was an enthusiastic cook and baker, always ready to share her delicious creations with family and friends. Her creative side shown through her painting, where she expressed herself in beautiful works of art. Traveling was another of her passions; she loved exploring new places and creating memories along the way.

June was a member of Fellowship Community Church of Liberty, SC.

Above all, June’s proudest accomplishments were the moments spent with her cherished grandchildren. They were her pride and joy, and she treasured every second spent with them.

June is survived by Son, Brian Cook (Suzanne); Grandchildren, Brad Cook (Gillian), and Taylor Cook (Haley); Great-Grandchildren, Stella Cook, Evie Cook, Cason Cook, and Grady Cook; and other extended family members.

In addition to her parents, June is predeceased by her Husband of 62 years, William Franklin Cook; and Great Grandchild, Dorothy Cook.

A visitation will be held at Fellowship Community Church in Liberty, SC on Thursday, January 9th, from 1-1:45PM. Funeral Service will follow visitation at the Church starting at 2 PM. A burial will follow the service at Memory Gardens of Clemson.
