Carol Rae Wislander(née Myers)of Easley, South Carolina passed away on May 18, 2017.
She is the daughter of the late Ethel Nevada Morton(née Pruitt)and Carl R. Myers. She had one brother Harold D. Myers who preceded her in death.
Carol was born in Chicago, Illinois, and spent the majority of her life in Chicago Heights, Illinois. She is a 1956 graduate of Bloom Township High School in Chicago Heights. She is retired from Sentry Insurance Company, of Chicago and Aurora Illinois where she was a commercial lines underwriter and Ryan's Steakhouse in Easley, SC where she was a hostess. Her hobbies were reading Harlequin romance novels, shopping, going out to eat and watching crime dramas and westerns on television. She loved John Wayne and Elvis.
She is survived by one son, Mark Kile (Charisse) of Belleview, FL. One daughter, Carla Oaks of Easley, SC. Four grandchildren and one great granddaughter.
As per her request no memorial or funeral service is planned.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital , 501 St Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
The family is at their respective homes.
