Carol Hughes York, 48, loving wife of David Harris York, passed away Monday, July 8, 2013.
Born in Glasgow, Montana, Mrs. York grew up in Dacusville with her parents, Robert and Peggy Corn. She was a certified nursing assistant who loved meeting and helping anyone that she could. Mrs. York was a member of Mauldin United Methodist Church, and in her spare time she enjoyed working in her yard and garden, but most of all, she loved spending time with her grandson, Brandon.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a son, Matt Grant and his wife Julia; a step-daughter, Rachel York; a brother, Travis Hughes; three sisters, Maria Broome, Angela Ragsdale, and Sharon Ashley; her mother, Peggy Corn Crum; and a grandson, Brandon Billadeau.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Jessica Lollis; a brother, Dale Corn; and her father, Robert Corn.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 12, 2013, in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. to 12:45 P.M. Friday, prior to the service, at Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Project HOPE Foundation, 2258 Woodruff Road, Simpsonville, SC 29681.
