Carole Connor Bargelt, 63, of Central, SC, wife of Scott Alan Bargelt, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.

Born in Anderson, SC on Sunday, November 8, 1959, she was the daughter of the late William Klugh Connor, Jr. and Mildred Joyce Connor. She had a passion for research, especially in Genealogy. She loved to watch all genres of movies with her family. She also loved to listen to all types of music. Carole graduated from Presbyterian College with a bachelors degree in Education and from Clemson University with a masters degree in English.

Carole is survived by her husband of 39 years, Scott Alan Bargelt; son William Mitchell Bargelt of Central, SC; brother William Klugh Connor III of College Station, TX; aunt Irma Joan Connor Hutto of Clemson, SC; and numerous cousins. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Colette Connor.

Memorial services will be held at 2 PM, Saturday, April 8, 2023 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home & Cremations.

The family will greet friends immediately following the service at the funeral home.
