Caroline Michelle Cumbie

Caroline Michele Owens Cumbie, 54, wife of Dan R. Cumbie Jr., passed away Sunday, February 7, 2021 at AnMed Health in Anderson, SC.
Caroline was born in Georgetown, SC, a daughter of Wesley and Connie Jayroe Owens. She was a 1983 graduate of Winyah High School in Georgetown and earned a teachers aide certificate from the University of South Carolina. She loved children and taught preschool and special education at Andrew's Elementary. Caroline was a Methodist.
Surviving in addition to her husband and parents are three sons, Mitchell Cumbie and his wife, Martha of Kingstree, SC, Jamie Cumbie of Central, and Matthew Cumbie and his wife Paige of Liberty, SC; brother Steve Owens of Georgetown; sister, Amy Inman of Georgetown; and grandchildren, Canaan Cumbie, John Easton Cumbie, Ella Cumbie, Allie Cumbie and Clay Cumbie. Also, her fur babies Sammie and Jäger Cumbie.
Private memorial services will be held at a later date for friends and family in the Georgetown area.
