Carolyn Martha Corley Aurich, 78, died at her home, in Clemson, on Wednesday, July 3, 2013.
Mrs. Aurich was born in Greenwood, SC, a daughter of the late Charles Calhoun and Lucille Kelly Corley. She graduated from Calhoun-Clemson High School, attended Furman University for two years, graduated from Emory University with a B. S. in nursing and was a member of Clemson United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her husband, Christoph Walter Aurich; one son, Charles Christoph Aurich (Jacqui) of Hong Kong; two daughters, Cathy Aurich Fulp (Walter) of Lexington, NC, and Renee Aurich Monaghan (Neil) of Central SC; one brother, William Abney (Butch) Corley of Pueblo, CO; one sister, Dot Skelton, of Clemson; six grandchildren, Chris Aurich, Laura and Dave Fulp, Neil, Megan, and Matthew Monaghan.
Mrs. Aurich was predeceased by a brother, Charles Calhoun Corley, Jr.
Funeral services will be held at 2 PM, Sunday, July 7, 2013 at at Clemson United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in Old Stone Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends, from 5 to 7 PM, Saturday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central.
The family request that flowers be omitted and memorials be made to Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621 or to Clemson United Methodist Church, 300 Frontage Road, Clemson, SC 29631.
