Carolyn Newell Cole, 78, of Easley and wife of James "Jim" Edward Cole, Sr., went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Country Side Park.
Mrs. Cole was born in Seneca, SC, a daughter of the late Clarence George and Maggie Belle Sanders Newell. She worked at Alexander Drugs in Easley from 1984 until 1997 and more recently was a homemaker. Mrs. Cole was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her son, James E. "Jimmy" Cole, Jr. and his wife Kay Boggs Cole, of Easley; a daughter, Elaine Lockhart and her husband, Kenny, of Easley; a brother, Harold Newell, of Columbia, SC; two sisters, Mary Ward, of Ladson, SC and Edna Graves, of Lawrenceville, Georgia; two grandchildren, Tyler Bradley Dacus, of Liberty, SC and Adison Caroline Dacus, of Easley, SC.
Funeral Services will be 3:00 pm Sunday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road. Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Reflection Mausoleum at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be Sunday from 1:30 pm until 2:45 pm, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home of Jimmy and Kay Cole, 104 Foliage Court, Easley.
