Carolyn Brown Dalton

Carolyn Brown Dalton, 97, of Pendleton, SC passed away peacefully Thursday, August 4, 2022, at Brushy Creek Post Acute Care of Greer.

A native of Pendleton, she was the daughter of Claude and Eloise Shockley Brown.  Mrs. Dalton served as a secretary with Clemson University IPTAY until her retirement in 1995.  She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church of Liberty.

An encourager to all, Mrs. Dalton will be remembered for her uplifting prayers and correspondences.

Mrs. Dalton is survived by her children Joan Davis of Greenville and Claude Dalton (Rhetta) of Easley; grandchildren Whitney Feaster (Jason) and Jordan Stephens (Luke); and great-grandchildren, Stella Feaster, Elizabeth Feaster, Tessa Stephens and Lydia Stephens.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Johnie E. Dalton and son-in-law Bill Davis; brother Charles Brown; sisters Charlotte Brown, Sarah Boyenga, Nora Elliott, Alice Hardy, Dot Earle and Patsy Hagood.

Services will be Sunday, August 7, at 3:00 pm at the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road Central, SC.  Visitation will be from 2:00 – 2:50 prior to the service.  Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery in Clemson.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, Liberty or Interim Hospice Upstate.
