Carolyn Annette Gambrell Edwards, 74, of 145 Five Forks Road, passed away Saturday July 16, 2011 at Rainey Hospice House.
Mrs. Edwards was born in Anderson, SC, a daughter of the late Ellis George and Margaret LaVadie Lawson Gambrell. She was a floral designer and interior designer and was a homemaker.
Surviving are her husband, George W. Edwards, of the home; two sons, W. Carol Edwards, of Greenville and Barry D. Edwards, of Pickens; three daughters, Rebecca "Becky" Ann Edwards McMakin, of Liberty, Theresa Lynn Edwards Mobley, of Easley and Sandra Dee Edwards Hester, of Liberty; a sister, Nellie Faye Gambrell Boyles, of Greer; 14 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 11:30 AM Monday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown with the Reverend Johnny Littleton officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM until 11:15 AM Monday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.
The family is at the home.
