Laura Carolyn Brown Fowler, 70, of 301 Pelzer Highway, died Monday, January 18, 2010, at Baptist Easley Hospital.

Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Hovey Oliver and Ila E.Foster Brown, Mrs. Fowler was a homemaker and had been a member of Carmel Presbyterian Church for over fifty years.

Surviving are her husband, William Grady Fowler of the home; two daughters, Kim Kelley of Easley and Tracy (Bill) Medlin of Liberty; two brothers, Ford (Catherine) Brown and Tony (Judy) Brown, all of Easley; four sisters, Evelyn Brown, Mildred Brown, Tommye (Gerald) Bice and Jessie Ann "Bootsy" Knight, all of Easley; three granddaughters, Tabitha and Kayla Kelley and Ashley Medlin; and a grandson, Hunter Jarrett. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Fowler was predeceased by three brothers, Lewis Brown, J.H. "Buck" Brown and Foster Brown.

Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. John LeHeup officiating. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will be from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.

The family is at the residence.
