Carolyn Ferguson Fowler

Carolyn Ferguson Fowler, 83, went home to be with her Lord & Savior on Thursday January 13, 2022. She was born on July 1, 1938 and was the only child of James Gordon Ferguson and Eunice Meeks Ferguson. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, doting grandmother and adoring great grandmother. She dearly loved spending time with her family, church family and her Clemson family.

She is survived by her husband, Donald E. (Don) Fowler, the love of her life for 64 years; three daughters, Donna Fowler Burgess (Chuck), Deborah Elaine Fowler, and Susan Fowler Hughes (Matthew); grandchildren Andrew Fowler Burgess (Alex), Taylor Burgess Hyatt (Jon), Matthew Hunter Hughes (Brittany), Hayden Fowler Hughes and 2 great grandchildren.

Carolyn was a lifelong active member of First Baptist Church of Clemson and a faithful member of the Arrington - Esther Sunday School Class. She retired with 22 years of service to Clemson University. She was an avid reader, loved her frequent stays at the beach and enjoyed membership in the Clemson Garden Club and life in Clemson.

Funeral Service will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church of Clemson, 397 College Avenue, Clemson, SC 29631.
