Carolyn W. Holbrooks

Carolyn W. Holbrooks, born in Fair Play, SC on March 10, 1931, entered eternal rest in heaven on May 26, 2023. Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Thomas J. Holbrooks, her father, mother, three brothers, and two sisters.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She worked 35 years at the United States Postal Service, was a talented seamstress, a lover of antiques, baking, shopping, gardening, and was always a Clemson fan.

Carolyn is survived by sons, Gregory Jeff Holbrooks and his wife Terri, Van Thomas Holbrooks and his wife Lisa; grandchildren, Joshua and his wife Serina, Christina, Christopher and his wife Sarah Beth, and Ashley.

The family will be receiving friends at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, 108 Cross Creek Road, Central, SC 29630, at 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 30th. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 2:00 P.M., followed by a committal service at First Baptist Church Cemetery in Pendleton, SC.

Carolyn’s family would like to thank all her friends, neighbors, and loved ones for their love and care throughout her life. Carolyn was a blessing to all and was blessed by each of you.
