Mrs. Carolyn York Palis, 78, wife of the late George Palis, passed away Sunday, December 18, 2011.
Born in Carnesville, Ga., a daughter of the late Telford A. and Monteen Bryant York, Mrs. York retired from Playschool Baby.
Surviving are one daughter, Jeannie H. Rhodes and her husband David R. Rhodes, of Easley; one sister, Sandra York McCollum and her husband Bill of Greenwood; two nephews, Dean McCollum and his wife Jeanie and Lee Sprouse and his wife Colleen; two great-nieces, Marysa and Teera and one great-nephew, Cody. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Palis was predeceased by a sister, Patricia Jean Sprouse and her husband Herman Sprouse.
The family will have receiving of friends Wednesday, December 21, 2011 from 4:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
