Carolyn Moore Roper, 83, beloved wife of the late Lewis “Arnold” Roper, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025.
Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late William Marvin Moore and Eula Finley Moore.
Mrs. Roper was a homemaker and a dental assistant earlier in her life. She was a dedicated and longtime member of Bible Baptist Church in Pickens. She enjoyed knitting, selling Avon Products, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, whom she greatly adored.
Surviving are her daughters, Conchita Roper Pearson (Dale) and Keisha Roper Ferguson (Mark) all of Easley; grandchildren, Samantha Davis, Shane Ferguson (Hayley), Tiffany Chapman, Tiffany Mann (Kevin), Kayla Southerlin (Justin), Kayla Corn (Lewis), and Colby Ferguson (Emma); great-grandchildren, Kenzie, Chloe, Ma’kayia, Sutton, Landon, Emmitt, Titus, Carsen, JJ, Beckett, Adley, and Scarlett; a brother, Bud Moore of Easley; a special sister, Jean Smith; and a host of special family and friends who were always available to assist the needs of Mrs. Roper.
A special thank you to Judy and Ashley from Agape Care Hospice for the compassionate care that was shown to Mrs. Roper. They treated her as if she was their mother.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her son, Barry Shane Roper, two sisters, Beulah Galloway and Pauline Gillespie, and a brother, Roger Moore.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 13, from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, with the funeral service to follow at 3:00 PM in the chapel.
Flowers will be accepted.
The family will be at the home of her daughter, Keisha Ferguson.
