Carolyn Sanders, 85, went to be with our Lord on Friday, November 26, 2021.
She was born on August 7, 1936, in Easley to James and Edna King. She attended Easley High School, Spartanburg Methodist College and was a member of First United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker, and worked at Sangamo, Northside Child Development Center and Easley Restorium. She was also a wonderful caregiver to many.
She is survived by her sister Barbara (Johnny) Black of Easley; children, Sammy Sanders of Loganville, GA, Deborah (William) Roach of Easley; grandchildren, Jonathan (Tara) Roach of Greenville, and Joshua (Tonya) of Easley; and great-grandchildren, Landen, Chloe, and Austin.
In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Don Sanders.
The family would like to thank the many people that helped care for her over the years, including the Greenville Post Acute nursing home where she has resided since 2018.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorial donations are made to a charity of your choosing.
A visitation will be held from 12:30 P.M. until 1:30 P.M. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Robinson Funeral Home – Downtown Easley.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021, at 2:00 P.M. at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Easley.
