Carolyn Pitts Sutherland, 73, wife of the late Kenneth Sutherland, passed away Friday, December 17, 2010 at Rainey Hospice House, Anderson.
Born in Madison, South Carolina, Mrs. Sutherland was a daughter of the late Louise and Rubye Jones Pitts. She was a nurses aid.
Surviving are her son, Ronnie Lawing, Jr. of Columbus, Georgia; a brother, Charles Pitts, of Liberty; a sister, Montez Lawing, of Merritt Island, Florida; two grandchildren, Veronica Armstrong and Clint Lawing; and great-grandchild, Lexi Lawing.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 PM Monday at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
The family is at the home.
