Mrs. Carolyn Pace Whitmire, 75, wife of Donald T. Whitmire, passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at McCall Hospice House.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late Jesse L. and Ola Entrekin Pace, Mrs. Whitmire retired from Mitchell Brothers Investments and was a member of Georges Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of the home, are a son, Thomas Stewart Whitmire (Catherine) of Charlotte, NC; a brother, Gene Pace (Alma) of Easley; a sister, Edna Mullikin of Easley; and two grandsons, Carter and Calvin Whitmire.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 13, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Reverends Joe Whisnant and Dale McCoig officiating. Burial will follow in the Georges Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. Saturday prior to the service, at the funeral home.
