Carrie Gaddis "Toby" Mahin, 91, wife of Rear-Admiral H. Paul Mahin, died Saturday, July 28, 2007 at the Clemson Downs Health Care Center. She was a native of Honea Path, SC and the daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Mattison Gaddis.
Toby was a nurse who trained at the Georgia Baptist Hospital in Atlanta and became a homemaker after the birth of her two sons.

Surviving in addition to her husband are sons, Patrick Lee Mahin and wife Cheryl of Minnetonka, MN; Michael Paul Mahin of Washington, DC; granddaughters, Abbey, Julia, Colleen, and Tiffany Mahin; and sister, Frances G. Weeks of Charleston, SC.

Graveside services will be Wednesday at 11am at Old Stone Church Cemetery. Also,
a memorial service will be held Wednesday at 2pm at the Clemson Downs Activity Center.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Clemson Downs Volunteers, 500 Downs Loop, Clemson, SC 29631 or to the Fort Hill Presbyterian Church, 399 College Ave., Clemson, SC 29631.
