Carroll Merritt, 67, passed away suddenly on Monday, August 10, 2009.
Born in Anderson County, he was a son of the late Willard "Bill" and Janie Wilma Garrison Merritt. He was a member of Siloam Baptist Church and the Wendle Hammond Sunday School Class.
Mr. Merritt retired from Lucent Technologies and Tele-Tech of Greenville. He was a devoted husband, wonderful father and granddad. He enjoyed his family, fishing, gardening and sports. He was a life-long Clemson fan.
Mr. Merritt leaves behind a loving wife of forty two years, Connie Foster Merritt; two sons and daughters-in-law, Rob and Michelle of Easley and Brent and Mandy of Mt. Pleasant; three precious grandchildren, Ansley, Seth and Presley; three brothers, Terry, Wayne and Charles Merritt.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Merritt was predeceased by a sister, Judy Evitt.
You are invited to a celebration of life on Thursday, August 13, 2009, 11:00 a.m. at Siloam Baptist Church.
Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens, 1425 Powdersville Road, Easley.
The family will be at the church at 10:00 a.m.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Wednesday at Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road.
The family is at the home at 239 Sherman Road, Easley.
