Obituary

Carson Luke Aiken, 16, of Easley, South Carolina, passed peacefully at home on June 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of his family.

Born in Greenville, South Carolina, on November 6, 2009, he is the son of Stephen and Melissa Rackley Aiken. Carson was a gentle soul with a quiet, thoughtful way about him. He noticed things others overlooked, moved through the world with kindness, and stayed true to himself in every season of his life. He found joy in the things he loved, and the people who loved him found endless joy in him. Carson attended 5 Point Church and enjoyed being a part of the 5 Point Youth Ministry.

In October 2025, Carson was diagnosed with a rare lymphoma. In the months that followed, he met every challenge with courage far beyond his years. Through long hospital stays, difficult treatments, moments of hope, and unexpected setbacks, he showed a strength that inspired everyone around him. Even on the hardest days, his resilience and determination never wavered.

Carson’s time here was far too short, but the impact he made is lasting. He will be remembered for his gentle humor, his thoughtful spirit, and the extraordinary bravery he carried throughout his journey. His family will forever hold him close in their hearts.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by a brother, Collin Aiken; his maternal grandfather, Eddie W. Rackley; his great-grandmother, Mary Rackley; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Carson is preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Cynthia Rackley Chaddock, and his paternal grandparents, Harold and Vickie Aiken.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, June 18, 2026, in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. A private burial will follow the service in Robinson Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:45 PM, on Thursday at the funeral home prior to the service.
