Catherine Gilmer Beitler, 84, of 2962 Dacusville Highway, went home to be with the Lord, Monday April 19, 2010.
Born in Honea Path, she was a daughter of the late Leonard and Effie Jordan. Mrs. Beitler was a beloved mother, sister and grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of Tremont Church of God.
Surviving are her son, Len Gilmer and his wife, Linda, of Easley ; four grandchildren, Jonathan, Bethany, Lynn and J.R. ; five great-grandchildren, Takara, Nikki, Paula, Ahmi and Zachary ; a sister, Pat Hickman, of Williamston and a brother, Dennis Jordan, of Belton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul A. Gilmer ; a son, Danny Gilmer; a brother, Leon Jordan and sisters, Martha Jean Brooks and Margie Woods.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Thursday in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Powdersville Road, Easley, with the Reverend Alton Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Greenville Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Wednesday at the funeral home.
The family is at the residence.
