Catherine "Cathy" Harley Chastain

Catherine “Cathy” Harley Chastain, 73, of Williamston, South Carolina, wife of the late Rodger William Chastain, passed away on Saturday, January, 27, 2024. 

Born in Easton, Pennsylvania, she was a daughter of the late Doris and Harold Mills. Cathy attended Wilson High School in Easton, Pennsylvania. Cathy cherished spending time with her grandchildren. Family was the foundation of her life, and she showered them with love and affection. She loved taking trips to the beach and later found Destin, Florida to be her favorite. Cathy had a passion for Hallmark Movies, she couldn't resist being whisked away by their heartwarming stories. In addition to movies, she had a love for reading. She attended Redemption Church in Greenville, South Carolina and was the manager of the Hardees in Piedmont for 30 years. 

She is survived by her three sons, Jeff Lippincott (Melissa), Craig M. Lippincott (Katie) and Shane Chastain (Brooklyn); and six grandchildren, Austin, Alex, Logan, Caden, Kason, and Charleston. 

In addition to her husband and parents, she is predeceased by a brother, Jay Lancer.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:15 PM on Thursday, February 1, 2024, at Robinson Funeral Home – Powdersville Road. The graveside service will follow at 1:30 PM at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
