Catherine Williams Johnson

Catherine Williams Johnson, 77, wife of Charles Edward "Buz" Johnson, III, passed away on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at her home.

Born in Marked Tree, AR, a daughter of the late Harley Williams and the late Opal Poindexter Williams, she was a loving wife and sister who enjoyed sports of all types, her dogs and cat, and spending time with her family. She was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church where she was also a member of the Victory Sunday School Class and the Anchor Sunday School Class.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are her sisters, Frankie Hilton of North Little Rock, AR and Reba Bryant of Newport, AR; three nephews, Bobby Odom of Waxahachie, TX, Harley Odom of Ward, AR, and Frank Odom of Ward, AR;  her stepson, Charles Edward Johnson, IV of Pickens and his daughter, Nichole Johnson of Easley;  two nieces, Annette Odom of Cabot, AR and Donna Tozer of Austin, AR; a step great-grandson, Angus Stover of Easley; five great-nephews; and four great-nieces.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her baby brother, Raymond Williams.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Easley. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
