Mary Catherine "Cat" Vaughn Sheriff, 83, formerly of Bonita Drive, wife of the late Floyd Thomas Sheriff, died Monday, February 1, 2010, at Mountain View Nursing Center in Clayton, GA.
Born in Pickens County, a daughter of the late William P. and Mary Cole Vaughn, Mrs. Sheriff retired as a secretary from Libco Mills in Liberty and was a member of Zion United Methodist Church.
Surviving are two nephews, Joseph F. Vaughn, Jr. and Terry W. Vaughn and their mother, Elizabeth Ann Vaughn. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Sheriff was predeceased by two brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Mike Cox officiating. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery West.
Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
