Catherine Dawn Smith, 79, widow of the late Jay Ralph Smith, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2018 at her home.
Born in Rome, NY, Catherine was the daughter of the late John and Nellie Owens Roberts. She was a homemaker who made the best spaghetti ever, loved flower gardening, cats and her grandchildren. She was a member of Tabor United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Richard, Scott, Wendy, Lisa and Jennifer; her brother, Johnny; her sisters, Mary Lou and Nancy; 9 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by her daughter, Jessica, and her sister, Betty.
Funeral services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 3:30pm in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home - Downtown. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday afternoon from 1:00pm - 3:15pm at the funeral home.
