Catherine Caldwell Watson, 90, 205 A. Old Saluda Dam Road and widow of Ford W. Watson, died Friday, December 12, 2008 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Laurens County, a daughter of the late William Earl and Mary Barksdale Caldwell, Sr., she was a retired employee of Piedmont Industries and was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are a sister, Vivian C. Williamson and her husband James L. of Greenville; and a number of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by two brothers, William Earl Caldwell, Jr. and Charles P. Caldwell; and three sisters, Lila C. Sloan, Sybil C. Barnett and Thelma L. Caldwell.
Graveside services will be 3 PM, Sunday in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Easley.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:30 PM, Sunday at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to the staffs of Pendleton Manor and the McCall Hospice House.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The McCall Hospice House, 1836 W. Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
