Katie Warren, 67, of Easley, wife of the late Kenneth Henry Warren, passed away Monday, June 29, 2015 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born November 3, 1947 in Bloomington, Illinois, she was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dale Winkler. Mrs. Warren was an educator with the Pickens County Schools with twenty-seven years of service. She was a member of Marathon Community Church and a Board Member of Maggie's School, Turkana Kenya.
She is survived by her daughter, Kim Warren-Page and her husband, Travis Page; grandchildren, Chistopher, Bryson, Emma, Grace, Stella and Payton. Also her two sisters, Wink McLeod and Connie Cheren; and nieces and nephews; Mike Eaton, Chris Eaton, Mindy Cheren, Bobby Cheren, and David Moore.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by her daughter, Kristi Dale Warren and her niece, Maggie Elizabeth McLeod.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 PM Monday, July 6, 2015 at Easley First Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 2:45 PM Monday prior to the service at the church.
Memorial contributions may be made to Maggie's School, 201 Jones Ave., Greenville, SC 29605.
