Cathy Elaine Burkett, 52, passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at Oconee Memorial Hospital.
Cathy was born in Oconee County and was a daughter of the late, Clifton Eugene Burkett and Lola Francis Shedd Burkett Thompson. She was employed with Ingles Supermarkets and was a member of East Clemson Christian Fellowship.
Surviving are one son, Zachary Cannon of Salem; one step sons, Jeremy Cannon of Seneca; one step daughter, Laura Cannon of Seneca; two brothers, Jerry and Roger Burkett both of Seneca; one granddaughter, Kiana Cannon; two nieces, Sylvia Peyton Shedd and Devin Burkett; one nephew, William Burkett.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother Rick Shedd.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Monday, February 19, 2018 in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
