Cathy Ann Roper, 56, died September 15, 2006 at the Hospice House in Anderson. A native of Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Paul William and Leola Estelle Burkett Roper. She retired from Clemson University and was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church.
Survivors: brothers, Arthur Wade Roper, Central, Gary Lamar Roper and wife Frances, Starr; sisters, Pauline Abercrombie and husband Gene, Pickens, Audrey Crooks and husband Charles, Seneca and Nell Miller and husband Vernon, Seneca. She was predeceased by brother Romaine Roper.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3pm at Cannon Memorial Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday prior to the service from 1:30-2:30pm at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Hospice of the Upstate, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central-Clemson Commons, is assisting the family with the arrangements.
