Cecil Ellery Camp, 85, of Tortuga Lane, passed away Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
Born in Stephens County, GA, he was the son of the late Clyde and Alice Stockton Camp.
Mr. Camp retired from Southeastern Freight Line after 27 years of service. He was a member of Rock Springs Baptist Church and proudly served his country in the US Army during the Korean War.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Barbara Wright Camp, of the home; four children, Doug Camp of Greenville, Sheila Stansell of Six Mile, Tammy Howard of Travelers Rest and Terri Craig of Easley; three grandchildren, Lisa Camp, Brittany Craig and Brandon Craig; two great grandchildren; and two sisters, Helen Duncan of Six Mile and Blanche Barrett of Greenville.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a sister, Betty Owens.
Graveside services will be held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at 2:00pm in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00pm until 8:00pm at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Open Arms Hospice, 1836 West Georgia Road, Simpsonville, SC 29680.
The family will be at the home.
