Mr. Cecil Talmadge Talley, 71, of 303 Grigsby Avenue died Sunday at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Franklin, Georgia he was a son of the late James C. and Gillie Phillips Talley. He served in the United States Air Force and was a Korean Conflict veteran. He was a member of Wellspring Christian Fellowship.
Surviving are his wife Jane of the home; two sons, Dennis C. Talley and his wife Patty of Pinehurst, NC, and Christopher L. Talley and his wife Paige of Easley; three daughters, Susan Cox and her husband David of Easley, Laura Tapp and her husband Billy of Norris, and Michelle Little and her husband David of Easley; two brothers, one sister, eleven grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday August 30, 2006 in the Chapel of Robinson Funeral Home ~ Powdersville Road with the Reverends Michael Mohler and Archie Sharp officiating. Burial will follow at Robinson Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 7:00 until 9:00 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be mailed to the American Cancer Society, 154 Milestone Way, Greenville, SC 29615, or by calling 864-627-1903.
The family is at the residence.
