Cecilia Denise "Cissy" Martinez, 10, of 514 Taylor Street and daughter of Ricardo Martinez of the home and Frances Denise Berry Hernandez of Greenville, died Monday, February 15, 2010 at Greenville Memorial Hospital.
Born in Anderson, she was a student at Clemson Elementary School.
Surviving in addition to her parents are step-mother, Guadalupe Chavez of the home; three brothers, Ricardo Antonio Martinez and Hector Daniel Martinez both of Central and Juan Martinez of Michoacan, Mexico; maternal grandparents, Franklin and Judy Berry of Pickens Silverio and Cecilia Martinez Castillo of Mexico; great-grandmothers, Barbara Berry of Central and Guadalupe Mendoza of Mexico; and great-grandfather, J. Jesus Martinez of Mexico.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 AM, Saturday at St. Andrews Catholic Church with burial to follow in Memory Gardens.
Visitation will be from 6 to 10 PM, Friday at Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home, Central with a Christian Prayer Service at 8 PM.
The family is at the home.
We will miss our little "Princess". She was the spark and the sunshine in our lives and the joy of the house. Dios te Guarde en el cielo y anosotros la pronta Resignacion.
