Cecile B. Smith

Cecile Bond Smith, 90, formerly of 138 Kathryn Court and a resident of Countryside Park Assisted Living of Easley, died Wednesday May 13, 2009 at McCall Hospice House.
Mrs. Smith was born in Madison County, Georgia, a daughter of the late Henry Lee and Rosa Seabolt Bond. She retired from J.P. Stevens & Company - Dunean Plant, after 45 years of service. She was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Greenville for over 60 years. Mrs. Smith was a loving wife and mother and a wonderful grandmother.
Surviving are daughters, Sandra S. Brooks and her husband, Walter "Dub" and Paulette S. Bolding and her husband, Jim, all of Easley ; a brother, James Bond and his wife, Louise, of Greenville ; a sister, Bobbi Nelson, of Sunset, SC ; grandchildren, Tami Reeves and her husband, Scott, Lt. Colonel Willie M. Stansell, III "Chip" and his wife, Susan, Paula Cook and her husband, Michael and Jamey McMahan and his wife, Krissy ; great-grandchildren, Scotty Reeves, Zach Reeves, Trace Reeves, Logan Reeves, Mack Stansell, Katie Stansell, Eli Cook, Charley Cook, Ellagrace McMahan, Deacon McMahan and Roman McMahan ; and one great,great-grandchild, Hannah Reeves.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Harry Smith, a brother and five sisters.
Graveside Services will be 11:00 am Saturday in Graceland Cemetery, West, conducted by the Reverend Dr. David Gallamore. Visitation will follow the service at the graveside.
The family is at their respective homes.
