Charles "Chuck" Matthew Ouvry

Charles "Chuck" M. Ouvry, 71, husband of Mary Kay Udy Ouvry, of Easley, passed away Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Born in Detroit, MI, he was the son of the late Charles Aime and Mary Therese Heck Ouvry.

Chuck loved to travel and create wood carvings. He also loved photography and was a member of the Clemson Photography Club. He was also a member of Easley First United Methodist Church. He proudly served with the U.S. Navy.

In addition to his loving wife, Chuck is survived by a daughter, Christina Baynes (J.R.) of Moncks Corner, SC; sons, Charles "Chuckie" Ouvry (Brittany) of Goose Creek, SC, Stephen Knode (Angela) of Bonneau, SC, and Christopher Sjolander (Diann Krywko) of Mt. Pleasant, SC; a brother, Gary Ouvry (Melissa) of Highland, MI; a sister, Carol Zane (Marty) of Allen Park, MI; 14 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tara Goetz.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, May 15, 2023 at Easley First United Methodist Church.
