Charles Tilman Fricks, 78, husband of the late Frances Mildred Owens Fricks, passed away Thursday, April 19, 2012 at Richard M. Campbell Veterans Nursing Home.
Born in Oconee County, the son of the late Loyd T. and Clara Beth Rowland Fricks, Mr. Fricks retired from Singer and was a member of Jones Avenue Baptist Church.
Surviving are one son, Larry Bryant of Easley; four daughters, Diane Fricks of Charlotte, NC, Brenda Maw (Paul) of Liberty, Peggy Taylor of Liberty and Kathy Watts of Easley; two grandsons, Steven Maw of Clemson and Curt Taylor of Greenwood; one granddaughter, Alisha Thompson of Liberty; and two great-grandchildren, Katie and Seth Thompson.
Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown with Rev. Dr.Roger Couch officiating. Burial will follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Visitation will be from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
The family is at the home of his daughter and son-in-law, Brenda and Paul Maw.
