Mr. Charles Fredrick "Charlie" Georges, Jr., 64, husband of Debbie Shehan Georges, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014 at his home.
Born in Seymour, IN, a son of the late Charles Fredrick Georges, Sr. and the late Mildred Catron Georges, Mr. Georges retired from Reliable Automatic Sprinkler and was of the Baptist faith. He was a US Air Force veteran having served in the Vietnam War.
Surviving, in addition to his wife of thirty-two years, are two daughters, Vickie Georges of MI, and Jenny Georges of CA; two brothers, Mike Georges (Wanda) and their daughters, Jane, Lindsay, and Christy of Greenville, and Rev. Danny Georges (Cindy) and their sons, Phillip and David of TN; two grandchildren, Josh Georges and Chloe Pinar; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Gene and Peggy Shehan of NC; a nephew Chris Shehan (Ursula) and their children, Jason and Sarah, of Simpsonville; and a niece, Karen Duncan (Marc), and their children, Josh and Anna.
Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2014 in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Powdersville Road with Rev. Danny Georges officiating. Burial will follow in Robinson Memorial Gardens with military honors.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1:45 PM Friday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
